Daniel Roldan’s work as a hairdresser is so multi-faceted, one might not know where to begin when discussing his skill set. He is a top-requested name in the fashion and media circuit, with stints on the Today Show, Montel Williams and the Oprah show to name a few. He has been publicized in such trade magazines as American Salon, Modern Salon, and in consumer magazines including Glamour, Seventeen, Cosmopolitan and Allure.

His insight and understanding of the evolving hair profession makes him a valuable educator. He is a consultant with Matrix, which involves him in the development of global educational formats including videos and published articles. He is fluent in Spanish, which also makes him a valuable resource for Spanish speaking countries and for product development and literature.

Daniel has traveled around the world as a Matrix educator. In the last two years alone, he has educated for Matrix in Dubai, Kuwait, Prague, Spain, Brazil, China, Trinidad, India, Italy, Russia, Croatia, Slovakia, England and Canada, making him one of the most sought-after artists. Many of these countries he has made return visits to, including Croatia and China. He hosted an event called “The World Tour” for 3000 stylists from around the world, and more recently was an educator at the successful Matrix Destination event in Las Vegas in June of 2006, with 6000 stylists in attendance. When he’s not traveling, Daniel can be found in his home base at the Matrix Global Academy in Greenwich Village, New York City, where he is an instructor for many of the Academy’s stylist programs.
